This system can use potassium or salt.
This is not just a normal water softener. It will not only remove the hardness, it will purify the water and produce better than bottled water from every tap. It will also not allow bacteria to grow inside the tank like most softeners do.
This single-tank system is designed to maximize water pressure throughout your home. Corrosion-proof fiberglass media/filter tanks with thick wall construction won't rust or deteriorate. The easy maintenance and operation of this system makes it an ideal choice.
Other systems on the market require their carbon and or other media to be changed after time. This unit will last a lifetime if maintained.
This system requires very little maintenance such as adding salt or potassium.

Detailed Instructions
Very detailed instruction manual that will answer almost any installation and maintenance question you have.
PUR-REZ: Filters, Softens, and removes chlorine and sediments from the water source.
PUR-pH: Balances the pH level
Synthetic Activated Carbon: Removes taste, odor, and lead. It will not allow bacteria to grow. (This is NOT regular carbon which has to be replaced every 3 to 4 years. It will recharge during every regeneration)
Gravel: Removes the larger particles out the water source.
Do not be fooled with other systems that you have to replace the media in. This system NEVER has to be replaced. Consider the savings after a few years of operation. This is the finest piece of equipment on the market.

Just thought I'd drop you a line to let you know how things are going.
We bought the house in 1978 and the first thing I did was purchase a water softener. Sears. $150. Did it myself. Years later it gave out. Got a new one. Same basic model. $300. Eventually I wanted something better. Researched on the web. Thought you had the best for the best price. Here are four pictures of my (self installed) Pure Tech 2000 City Water Filter/City Water Softener system with the Fleck 5600 valve and the optional water meter. I am NOT a plumber, but your GREAT instructions made the job easy. The total job took me just a few hours to complete. To install the Pure Tech 2000, I needed to buy 6 3/4" copper elbows, 2 3/4" Male Adapters, 10 feet of 1/2" ID plastic tubing, a small clamp, and 240 pounds of solar salt. The cost for parts needed was just about $50.00. The total cost to me for this complete job was $700.00. Not bad for a $3,000 system. Thank you!!! The shipping was fast and secure through DHL. My wife and I are very happy with your company and our new Pure Tech 2000 system and it's 10 year (FULL) warranty. It is also great that I never have to replace any resin.
